Using Sheers and Shadings
After deciding that your home could benefit from upgrading your windows, you are likely considering what your options are. Because there are so many unique directions in which you could move, the options are endless. At Rebarts Interiors, we appreciate the range of ways that you could change the look and feel of your space. Using sheers and shadings may be one thing for you to think about.
Silhouette® Window Shadings are one design we offer. These Hunter Douglas offerings are great for living areas and offices as they effortlessly allow light to gently enter while still giving you a sense of privacy. In this design, S-shaped vanes appear to be floating between fabric panels, which is how the incoming light is filtered. An unexpected benefit of using sheers and shadings is that they can also offer UV protection. This means that any furnishings or valuables that you may have inside a room will be protected from potentially harmful rays.
The Silhouette® can also be customized in a variety of ways. With fabrics such as French linen or India silk, there is something to meet the design goals of each of our customers. As we also have a large collection of colors, ranging from Soft White to Cathedral, integrating these window treatments into your existing decor is a simple and fun process. Using sheers and shadings can not only be beneficial in terms of protecting the belongings you have in any space, but they can also be great pieces in terms of upgrading the aesthetic.
Another style that you may want to think about is our Pirouette® Window Shading. This design connects S-shaped vanes to a single backing, which allows the shade to move with a sense of fluidity and gracefulness. This style also offers UV protection just like the aforementioned Silhouette®. Using sheers and shadings can also be beneficial in that this particular design can be drawn all the way up into the headrail, leaving you with a great unobstructed view.
The final style that you might want to consider when thinking about using sheers and shadings is our Luminette® Privacy Sheers. With the vanes' ability to rotate 180 degrees, you can determine just how much or how little privacy and light you would like at any given time. These are also great to use on the patio or sliding glass doors. Additionally, as you have the option to purchase the fabric used to create these window fashions, you can easily match pillows or other room accents to your new Hunter Douglas products.
